The Transporter, the hit film franchise that has stared Jason Statham, will now have a Luc Besson produced tv series.
After negotiations took place, it is now being reported that Cinemax has given the green light for 12 episodes of everyone’s favorite action driver.
“The series will revolve around professional transporter Frank Martin, played in the movies by Jason Statham. Operating in a “seedy underworld of dangerous criminals and desperate players, Martin can always be counted on to get the job done — discreetly. He has three rules: Never change the deal, no names and never open the package.”
The show will be produced by French Compant Atlantique.
Huh, didn’t know Skinemax was trying to move beyond soft core porn shows/movies late at night.

Is Max Payne 3 still being developed?
It’s a question that’s been asked by the series’ fans ever since the game was announced on indefinite hiatus in June of last year. With no word on it since then, many may have thought the game was completely gone.
But Rockstar’s Twitter account says different as two new screens of the game—one above—surfaced.

So can we at least get a release date now? Or do we play the Duke Nukem game of delay?

Writer: Grant Morrison
Pencillers: Howard Porter, Gary Frank, Greg Land
Inkers: John Dell III, Bob McCleod
Rock Of Ages is the volume where Morrison really takes things up a notch. Despite opening and appearing to be a fairly standard JLA vs the Injustice Gang story, it takes a grand swerve with the arrival of Metron at the Watchtower who sends Aquaman, Green Lantern and the Flash spiraling into the future. Seemingly stranded, the trio soon discover that if the JLA win in present day, then Darkseid rules in the future. They literally face a race against time – to save the future; the JLA must not triumph over Lex Luthor’s Injustice Gang…
With a story on such a cosmic tale it’s expected that Morrison would fill this with some big and interesting ideas. Does this work, or is there just too much going on leaving this a mess? Read on to find out.

Any sticklers that still feel the need to argue that video games aren’t considered a piece of art or at least on the same artistic level as film, may find themselves quieting up in late April.
It was announced recently that Rockstar’s upcoming L.A. Noire will be featured as part of Robert De Niro’s Tribecca Film Festival which takes place in New York.
According to representatives from the festival, this marks the first time a video games has “earned such an honor at a film festival as prestigious as Tribeca.” The game will be a part of a special session called Tribecca Talks, which will feature a live gameplay section and a Q&A.
Suffice it to say, Rockstar games is very pleased with the feature.
“We’re thrilled that L.A. Noire is being recognized by the Tribeca Film Festival in this way,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “It’s a real honor, and another step forward for interactive entertainment.”
“What Rockstar and Team Bondi have accomplished with L.A. Noire is nothing less than groundbreaking,” added Tribeca Enterprises’ Chief Creative Officer Geoff Gilmore, . “It’s an invention of a new realm of storytelling that is part cinema, part gaming, and a whole new realm of narrative expression, interactivity, and immersion. We are poised on the edge of a new frontier.”
Many have been looking forward to L.A. Noire which seems to have Rockstar pulling out all the bells and whistles.
Perhaps most notable about the game, is the MotionScan technology used that many publications have been talking about. Gaming journalists have said that the technology will help deliver a level of facial realism not yet seen in gaming. For example, gamers will have the ability to tell if a another character is lying based on realistic and natural facial expressions.
The Tribecca Talks L.A. Noire section will take place at the festival April 25th, while the game is set to be released for XBox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 17th in the U.S. and May 20th everywhere else.

In all honesty, the best episode so far. Not that I was getting tired of the action and the constant jealousy in the harem, but this was a large step up from a usual IS: Infinite Stratos episode. Houki, you just made everything better.

Good morning, senpai. From this day forth, I shall be your kouhai. A rotten and vulnerable kouhai.

Ever get tired of boring ugly old Pocky? Well you’re in luck because Popteen (a super girly girl Japanese magazine) introduces deco Pocky that you can bling out just like your cellphones! Now you’ll be able to decorate your Pocky with adorable bows, gems, cute little shapes and icing.
In case you were wondering, yes it is all edible! It looks really fun to make, but even if it’s not your thing, I’m sure you’ll enjoy the very lovely teen idols posing with them. But still…..It’s cute, isn’t it? Isn’t it?

“Sanctuary has everything that defines a seinen series: complex characters, a thrilling story, passionate sex, and ruthless violence. Sanctuary’s story revolves around Akira Hojo and Chiaki Asami, two childhood friends that took opposite paths in life. One joins the gang in Japan, the Yakuza, and the other joins the government. Some say it’s “The Godfather” of Japanese manga; we feel that if any manga is going to blow your mind, this series just might be it!” -thespectrum.net

When images of the Wonder Woman costume from David E. Kelley’s upcoming t.v. series hit the net last week, many were left unimpressed with the dazzling get-up.
But according to pictures shot by spectators during shooting of the series in L.A., it looks as if studio execs may have been lurking in the comment boards.
Comics Alliance reports:
“Photographs of Wonder Woman taken from last night’s shoot feature a costume that addresses the concerns in a way that almost makes one suspect producers actually care what audiences think. The Amazon princess’ blue high heeled boots have been switched to red flats; the light blue latex pants have been replaced with what look like a pair of navy blue jeggings; and the brightness of the bustier appears to have been diminished as well.”

Personally, I think it’s eons better than what NBC initially released.
You can view a few more pictures of the costume and footage of the shooting here.
Wonder Woman will star Adrianna Palicki as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince and feature Traci Thoms, Cary Elwes, Justin Bruening, Joseph Gatt and Elizabeth Hurley. It’s set to air on NBC sometime in 2012.

As another entry in my attempt to get readers ready for this summers slew of comic based movies I’ll be breaking down and reviewing Geoff Johns ongoing run on Green Lantern. I usually try to recommend completed runs or series, but in this case I’ll forfeit that to talk about the Green Lantern run that’s most relevant to the upcoming movie.
As usual I’ll break it down as such:
