BioWare Announces “Mass Effect 3: Citadel” Expansion And More Multiplayer Action
The final Mass Effect 3 single-player DLC is officially on its way. Called Citadel, this expansion will feature a story that has Commander Shepard and squad battling through the Citadel’s Wards and the Council Archives, attempting to uncover the truth about a conspiracy that threatens Shepard. New multiplayer action is also on its way.

BioWare’s forum post states that Mass Effect 3: Citadel is ”one final chance to see characters you have known for years and rekindle romances.” It’s also larger than previous DLCs and will require two downloads for Xbox 360 users. Prepare for the rather hefty price of $14.99; it sounds like Mass Effect 3 is going out with a bang.
A new multiplayer DLC is also coming soon — February 26, to be exact — called Reckoning. It will feature seven new weapons, such as the Geth Spitfire Assault Rifle and Venom Shotgun, as well as equipment and mods like the Geth Scanner. The Geth Juggernaut and Female Turian Raptor a couple of new classes to expect in the war against the Reapers.
The DLC drops March 5 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
