Fan Goes Through Surgery To Look Like Superman

Well there’s an attempt to look like your favorite hero or villain. Then there’s this.

Herbert Chavez, a 35-year-old Filipino man is easily one of the biggest Superman fans on the face of the planet. His room is littered with a multitude of Superman memorabilia. But what sets Chavez apart from other Super Fans, is the fact that he’s gone through extreme measures to look like the Man of Steel.

Chavez has undergone multiple plastic surgeries since 1995 to look more like Superman. Surgeries have included chin augmentation for the cleft, rhinoplasty to get a nose much like the late Christopher Reeves, silicone lip injections, and thigh implants.

This kind of reminds me of an episode of MTV True Life, where they featured regular people who got plastic surgeries to look more like their favorite celebrities. Apparently Chavez is a pageant trainer.
