“The Raven” (2012) Trailer
Telling a fictional account of poet Edgar Allan Poe’s (John Cusack) final days, a mysterious serial killer begins a series of grisly murders that resemble the works of the famed poet. Recruited by the detective (Luke Evans) heading the case, the two must match wits with the killer to not only stop him from continuing his killing spree, but to also save Poe’s wife.
I’ve got to say that this has to be another film that I’m highly anticipating for next year. The trailer itself is a pretty good sell on the story and the two leads of Luke Evans and John Cusack look to be a great pair. Luke Evans is getting a lot of work lately and he’ll have his chance to prove he’s a leading man, but to me he still seems like a boot-legged Orlando Bloom from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
