“Project X” (2012) Trailer #1

Hollywood seems to be taking the whole found footage style of film to whole new lengths with this latest project by Todd Phillips (The Hangover). Here we have more extreme party antics with Project X, and the twist this time around is that its filmed in the found footage style.

I understand how the style would fit something like this, but what the trailer fails to do is tell the audience whether this is supposed to be a comedy. I couldn’t honestly tell you all what genre this film is supposed to be, but if it interests you check it out when it hits theatres March 2nd, 2012.
