Skyline (2010)

Plot Summary: Strange lights descend on the city of Los Angeles, drawing people outside like moths to a flame where an extraterrestrial force threatens to swallow the entire human population off the face of the Earth.

The concept is sound but I’m a bit skeptical with this movie. The visuals that we’re given a glimpse of in the trailer are gorgeous but, my biggest concern is direction. It is being directed by the Strause brothers who last directed Alien vs. Predator: Requiem and that film was just total garbage. Hopefully they can shore up their reputation as directors and actually make Skyline a good movie.
