Order up! Another Paul Verhoeven classic is on its way to being remade by Hollywood.

Following Total Recall and Robocop, Starship Troopers is yet another sci-fi classic set to be remade. This time around, Neal Moritz is set to produce this remake.

With Neal Moritz behind this project it’s sure to be a big summer blockbuster. He has produced films like, the Fast & Furious franchise, Battle: Los Angeles, I Am Legend, as well as the upcoming Total Recall remake.

Along with Neal Moritz producing the film, Ashley Edward Miller and Zack Stentz have been assigned to write the script. With their last two films being 20th Century Fox’s X-Men: First Class and Paramount Picture’s Thor, I’m left quite excited for this project.
