Fans of Nisio Isin’s Monogatari will be looking at an end to their beloved light novel series in the coming 2012. A page leaked onto the internet has announced that the final season of the Monogatari series will be published in 2012.

This season will include the following 3 books:

1) 憑物語 (Tsukimonogatari, loosely translated as “Demon Story”),

2) 終物語 (Owarimonogatari, loosely translated as “Final Story” )

3) 続終物語 (Zokuowarimonogatari, loosely translated as “Continued Final Story”)

The Monogatari series began with Bakemonogatari, initially a series of short stories for Mephisto magazine. It continued on sprawling 8 more stories spread among 10 volumes of light novels.
