Previously in KHR: As soon as Tsuna and Uni’s team met to discuss their plan for taking down the other teams, the next battle started. Surprisingly, Tsuna was paired back to back with Byakuran. How did Amano handle this plot development? Read on.
Elucidation of Byakuran’s motives were somewhat divulged. As usual for Amano, details weren’t clear; however, she did indicate that Byakuran was dedicated to doing everything to help Uni.
The battle royale started with a bang. Team Uni suffered one loss at the hands of Mukuro, while Tsuna went head-to-head against him in retaliation. Byakuran nearly entertained Ken; however, Gamma stepped in. At the same time, Collonello prepared to launch a devastating assault that would wipe out everyone’s watches at hand. If this was successful, it would have enabled Uni’s prediction to come true!
This was the type of chapter that made me a fan of Reborn after it turned from a gag series to a battle manga. I loved the action Amano crammed into it as well, with the frenzy of having so many characters involved. She even kept it unpredictable by throwing in a fight with Mukuro and Tsunayoshi. I had no qualms at all with the chapter.
It will be interesting if Uni’s prediction won’t come to pass. I figured that someone will have to intervene and interrupt Colonello.
