MorrisonCon Is Coming
A website has been set up for an upcoming event which will be headlined by none other than Grant Morrison. Set to happen in only one weekend during Fall 2012, the con will be presented by Isotope Comics and iFanboy, and will feature nine other “hand picked” creators.

Your guess is as good as mine as to who those will be, as well as when and where the event will actually happen.
Now, before you start crying that this is a product of a man’s ego, realize that more than likely it wasn’t Morrison who named the con after himself (knowing him, he’d probably have named it something much more cryptic). A convention like this is just what we need in a world where the two largest Cons (NYCC and SDCC) are flooded by millions of people who don’t care one bit about comics, and who are occupying all these booths about movies, TV shows, and other material that comic fans could likely care less about (coughTwilightcough). This will be about the comics and the creators, and that’s exactly what we care about.
