“Silent House” Debut Trailer

It’s an Olsen sister movie! No, not Mary-Kate or Ashley, but their younger sibling Elizabeth as she stars in this horror flick.

Now I don’t really have a lot to say about the film itself—it looks like your generic haunted house/serial killer/true event type of movie—but I am interested in something that was advertised in this trailer, which is that it is being sold as a film done entirely in one take.

If that is true, then I’m really interested in seeing the movie. The reason being that it’s one thing to act between takes, but to put on an act for an entire feature length film is another thing entirely. The lack of quick cuts and single take performance should add to the tension of the film as it should leave you no breaks to catch your breath. Should there be a lack of a soundtrack as well, that should only add to the experience.

If you’re interested, check it out when it hits theatres March 9th!
