The sequel to the successful X-Men: First Class will once again have Matthew Vaughn in the director’s chair.
The announcement comes today through a Deadline article detailing that 20th Century Fox has re-upped with Production President Emma Watts, who will work with company at least until 2015.
Among some of the projects that Watts has worked on, included closing a deal with Vaughn to direct the X-Men sequel. In addition to Vaughn, Simon Kinberg (Sherlock Holmes) will write the script and Bryan Singer (X-Men) will produce.
No official word yet on when production will start on the film.
