“Assassin’s Creed III” Out This October

Previously, Assassin’s Creed III was included in Ubisoft’s 2012 lineup. Today, Ubisoft has officially announced, during a call with investors, the released date for the latest installment in their popular historical fiction game.

Assassin’s Creed III will be out in stores on October 30th.

Still not excited about it? Hit the cut to find out what Yves Guillemot, CEO of Ubisoft, has for the investors regarding AC3.

——

Yves Guillemot has gone on the record saying that the game will be “the biggest launch in Ubisoft history” and that the game has been in development for three years. Meaning, while the company has been busy churning out Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, they already have a team busy working on AC3.

While the game details are still being kept secret, Ubisoft has promised that there will definitely be a new protagonist for those of you already tired of Ezio, though the era in which AC3 will take place in is still unknown.

Nothing was said regarding the gaming platforms that AC3 will be released on, even though Wii U was listed as one of them in its lineup of 2012 games.
