Paul Giamatti & Samuel L. Jackson Join DreamWorks Animation’s “Turbo”

Now Paul Giamatti and Samuel L. Jackson will join a cast headlined by Ryan Reynolds and also features the likes of Michael Pena, Luis Guzman, Bill Hader, Richard Jenkins, Maya Rudolph, Ben Schwartz, Kurtwood Smith and Snoop Dog.
The film is set to be directed by DWA veteran David Soren based on his own original concept:
According to DWA, Turbo follows an ordinary garden snail (Reynolds) with dreams of racing greatness. His obsession with speed and all things fast has made him an oddity and outsider in the slow and cautious snail community, and a constant embarrassment to his careful older brother. When he is one day imbued with the power of amazing speed, he embarks on a quest that will see him racing in the Indianapolis 500.
