“Pokémon Black 2” and “White 2” Arriving In June

Fans of the Pokémon series can rejoice! Though a bit of a head-scratcher, the newest entries into the franchise have been announced. For the first time ever, the Pokémon series will see direct sequels, rather than the usual third spinoff title, to the main series in the forms of Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 for the DS.

Surprisingly, the new games are not specifically made for the Nintendo 3DS, but apparently the games do have extra features for owners of the system to take advantage of. DSi owners will be receiving some bonuses as well.
Two new forms of Kyurem were announced and are said to be the new mascots for the games. If you would like to see more of the two, you can visit the games’ official Japanese site here.
Pokémon Black 2 and Pokémon White 2 are set for a June release in Japan.
