“Dark Shadows” (2012) Debut Trailer

Tim Burton, Helena Bonham Carter and Johnny Depp have teamed up once again for the latest film, Dark Shadows.

Dark Shadows is a fantasy/horror comedy that sees Depp playing the role of Baranabas Collins, a man cursed and transformed into a vampire and buried alive by a witch whose heart he broke (Eva Green). After being accidentally re-awakened two centuries later, he returns to find his estate in ruins and his descendants in even worse shape.

Whether you love em’ or hate em’—I being of the latter—the trio are a proven box office draw, especially considering their last team up was 2010’s Alice in Wonderland, which went on to make over $1 billion worldwide. Another thing to note is that director Tim Burton has quite the busy year in 2012, as he is set to release Dark Shadows (Director), Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (Producer) and Franken Weenie (Director & Producer).

The film also sports a cast featuring the likes Michelle Pfeiffer, Jackie Earle Haley, Eva Green, Chloe Grace Moretz and Christopher Lee.

Dark Shadows hits theatres May 11th.
