“Transformers” Featured In Robot Theme Park

There really is a place in the world that features the Transformers standing proud and tall. And they didn’t even cost a fortune to build or have tons of city destroying explosions behind them, perhaps much to the dismay of Michael Bay.

Transformers sculptures have been built in the Mr. Iron Robot Theme Park in Jiaxing City in East China’s Zhejiang Province. And unlike most vehicles, even Captain Planet would approve of their existence.

More details and pictures after the break.

The ten-foot tall Transformers along with other cartoon figures exist in the form of sculptures thanks to artist Zhu Kefeng. Kefeng, 49, and his team spent ten years building the figures and park from the recycled steel and iron materials of used cars, motorcycles and old machines.

Kefeng sold other sculptures and his apartment to make the theme park a reality.

“I feel very glad when the children visit my park and enjoy the happiness here. “Zhu Kefeng said, “I still remember the joy when I play iron toys in my childhood, I’d like to share the joy with children when I’m able to build a theme park. Joy shared with others are more enjoyed.”
