After years of development it looks like Robert Rodriguez is finally committing himself to the Sin City 2 film which will see him team up once again with Frank Miller.

Dimension films has released a couple of details surrounding the project with their recent press release. The film will have the official moniker Sin City: A Dame To Kill For. Miller has teamed up with Oscar winner William Monahan (The Departed) to write the screenplay for the film.

Once again the film will revolve around three separate stories with a wrap-around to tie them all together. The one known segment is “A Dame to Kill For” alongside what Frank Miller is calling two new installments that are not based on any of Miller’s pre-existing comics. 

Casting is set to begin in the coming weeks with filming projected to start in the summer.
