“Enders Project” To Be Newest Sequel To “Zone Of The Enders”

In a ZOE event held in Japan, following the news of the released date for Zone of the Enders HD Collection, a new game codenamed “Enders Project” was announced. The image above was taken from the said event.

Fans have been asking Kojima for years to do a sequel game to Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner, and Kojima himself has indicated that he wishes to develop the game once his studio has enough resources to spare.

More information to come after the cut.

Famitsu has reported that Enders Project is indeed the sequel to Zone of the Enders. During the event, Kojima has said he is taking the project seriously and will be giving all his best for it. The game will be handled by Kojima Productions and developed using their own Fox Engine.

The following are some images of the concept art revealed at the event.

And here are the images for the model done based on the concept art.

At the event, they also presented the concept art of a mystery unnamed robot, which is slightly different in style from the prequels. Producer Toriyama Ryousuke also presented the 3D model of the concept art and also said that the game is now in the stage of capturing CG assets into the Fox Engine using the models. They are also in the process of conducting tests to see what can be down with the Fox Engine. After this, they’ll be discussing and deciding on the direction in which the game will be going towards.
