Anime Review: Shining Hearts: Shiawase no Pan - 8

I’m officially renaming you to Sir Mopington Master of Mopery Esquire.

——

Another episode and another new character we, more than likely, won’t be seeing again. Also, this makes for the 6th character that has washed up on the shore without a memory. Two was bad enough, but now this is just getting ridiculous. Is anyone on the island actually from there? Are we ever going to learn about anyone’s past before they washed up on the shore? Wait, I forgot, I don’t really care… Moving on!

Dylan and his misshapen abdominal muscles also show up this episode too, though we don’t really get to know much about him. I’m guessing that’s because he has a bigger tie into the overall plot… but that could be wrong. If this anime loves one thing more than bread, it’s introducing characters only to have them vanish.

Yay, Kaguya is getting better, I almost forgot she and her magic pendant existed. Maybe, just maybe, it means that we can get on with the plot? Or maybe it just means Rick will have yet another person to blather endlessly to about his worries. We get it, you still feel out of place despite having made a decision about it already. Hurry up and get over it so we can move on, or something.

So, there you have it. Another episode where almost nothing happens. It seems, though, that Hank and Xiao-Mei are going to get things back on track next episode. Along with that, Rouna returns and possibly Ragnus and Rufina will too. Judging from the preview, it seems that hank is finally going to activate the Vocaloid KOS MOS Robot Chick. Oh man, stuff is going to happen, I almost don’t know what to do right now.
