“The plot! It’s starting to move!”

——

Oh, awesome, a picnic. You guys will find any excuse at all to bake stuff, am I right? Don’t answer that, we know already. Here we go with another exciting adventure of things almost happening, but not quite. Here we go making me hungry all over again. If anything one could take away from this at the end of the day, it is definitely hunger. Hunger for a plot, and hunger for some of those delicious looking food stuffs.

However, this episode is not all about picnics and baking (thank god) it also includes Xiao-Mei and Hank going on a heist. What Hank lacks in “stealth” he makes up for with his hammer that can turn into a hover scooter. Is it just me, or does it seem like Hank is somehow the Master Thief and Xiao-Mei is just kind of there at this point? He knew how to avoid Rouna, knew where the treasury was, knew that a golem was behind the wall… why didn’t he just do this solo?

About this time the anime decides to go on a day-long picnic filled with laughter, bikinis and baked goods. I’m sure there was something more to it, aside from Amil still having issues with Rick being a Swordsman, but I’m not sure what. I honestly haven’t yawned this much since that time I tried to play Xenosaga. This whole anime has to be some kind of test to see if people will watch anime comprised of 90% filler.

Oh right, almost forgot: back to the heist. So, it took a whole day to stop the golem, repair damages, and send out the troops to round up Xiao-Mei and Hank. Hold on a sec: they know it was either of them? Why didn’t they just arrest them sooner? Also, was Hank standing there this whole time? After all that trouble to get the damn thing and you just stand there with it. I mean, if this Vocaloid looking KOS MOS wannabe is that deadly then… oh right, I’m trying to reason with an anime full of morons, I’d have better luck catching flies in a thimble. Oh well, she’s awake now which means something might finally happen for once. Hopefully it will be everyone’s brutal and slow demise, that would please me greatly.
