Japanese Electronic Rock duo Boom Boom Satellites—bassist and programmer Masayuki Nakano and guitarist and vocalist Michiyuki Kawashima—will perform the theme song for the upcoming Starship Troopers: Invasion. The song titled, “Another Perfect Day” will serve as the first collaboration with Invasion director Shinji Aramaki since the 2004 Appleseed. The duo also recently did the rocking theme song for Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn.

The song will come out in Japan in July 18, with the film to follow two days later. Any reason to have these two to produce new music is a good reason in my eyes. Now, if we could just get a proper follow up to 2010’s To The Loveless.
