Nintendo Announces 3DS XL Coming August 19th
Nintendo has confirmed a report that there will be a new, much bigger 3DS coming this August with screens over 90% larger than the original 3DS, which will be arriving before the end of the summer.

Announced during the Nintendo Direct broadcast, the new 3DS XL will sport a 4.88 inch 3D top screen and a 4.18 inch bottom screen. The 3DS XL will come in two options to start, blue and black or red and black styles.
The new portable will be priced at $199.99 and will be released August 19th, 2012, the same day as the launch of New Super Mario Bros. 2.
