Hayate no Gotoku aka Hayate the Combat Butler gets the green light for a movie.

For those not familiar with the series, Ayasaki Hayate is an in-debt butler of the Sanzenin family who deals with daily misfortunes as his way of life. Not only is the mafia after him but girls as well. This natural gigolo, however, is horrible dealing with girls, thus creating multiple misunderstandings and constant romantic-comedy vibes.

The manga over in Japan continues to thrive with its 27th volume set for release next month while North America awaits its 17th localized volume later in March. The anime reached two seasons of 77 episodes and one OVA, staying faithful to the manga for the most part, particularly season two. 

If you haven’t checked out Hayate the Combat Butler yet, I highly suggest you do so because it is hilarious and a good read. Hayate will be a given favorite character but the real question is, which girl would you pick? 

Look forward to the film as it is expected to filled with gags, envious harem scenarios and a butler in life threatening combat mode.
