The future is on everyone’s minds as the year draws to a close.
In this chapter, Misaki discusses her college plans and the future with her friends. After she studies, Usui shows up and the two take a tour of Miyabigaoka High School. Misaki gets to see the kind of lifestyle the rich students are living and what the school grounds look like. In the end, Usui tells Misaki that he is going to go to England to resolve the problems with his family. Misaki tells him to be strong and to not give up until the end when he goes.
I really like the date aspect of this chapter because it was nice seeing Usui and Misaki spending some time together again. I find it very touching that she knows which seat he sits in during class, and I’m really proud of her for cheering him on when he decides to go to England. Their relationship seems really strong right now and I hope that their separation doesn’t affect things too badly.
I am also interested in learning a bit more about the snobby students of Miyabigaoka, especially Igarashi. I wonder if there is a bit more to Igarashi’s character, like the expectations of his family. I also love that Usui and Hinata seem to be getting along better, perhaps because Hinata now likes Suzuna a lot. The chapter doesn’t have very many exciting events, but the character moments are really nice.
I’m really looking forward to the next chapter to see how separation suits Misaki and Usui. Their relationship has been really strong lately, and I hope that this trend continues. I’m also looking forward to the drama of Usui’s family in England and the clever plan he comes up with to fix everything. Hopefully we’ll also learn a bit more about Misaki’s college plans. Let’s hope the plot picks up a bit as well.
