Neil Gaiman To Bring “Sandman” Back To Vertigo

Well, if that news isn’t enough to grab everyone’s attention then I don’t know what is. Neil Gaiman has been announced to officially be returning his lauded series Sandman back to DC’s Vertigo imprint in 2013.

Together with praised artist J.H. Williams III (Batwoman), Gaiman will be telling a story to tell why Dream allowed himself to be captured as we saw him back in the first issue of the original ongoing title. This one will be a mini-series, and it doesn’t have an official release date, but I’m sure we’ll be hearing more about this throughout this momentous San Diego Comic-Con weekend.
