Parker Proves The Female Is The Smashiest Of The Species In “Red She-Hulk”

Having been suspiciously absent from the Marvel solicitations for a few months, Jeff Parker’s Hulk series, starring Thunderbolt Ross AKA the Red Hulk was feared cancelled by many. At SDCC this week, Parker has announced that instead the title will continue on in October, but become Red She-Hulk instead.

The book will now feature Betty Ross, the daughter of Thunderbolt Ross, and a red-skinned smasher in her own right. It will continue on with the numbering of Hulk, starting with issue #58 in October, and Parker will continue to write the series, with Carlo Pagulayan and Wellinton Alves drawing the first arc of the renamed title.
Parker stressed that this does not mean that the Red Hulk will perish as solicitations for Avengers Vs. X-Men suggested, but will have a big role to play elsewhere, fueling more rumours about a possible Hulk and the Agents of SMASH comic book to go along with the cartoon series in development with the same name.
