There Is Still A “Voltron” Movie In The Works

It was nearly a year ago when news of the Voltron movie moving forward in development was revealed. Since then, not much else has been heard on the project until now.

During an interview with the Wall Street Journal, World Event Production’s Creative Director Jeremy Corray and Vice President Robert Kopla said that the movie is still moving along, but that’s about it.
“It’s currently in development with Relativity Media,” Kopla said. Josh Oppenheimer and Thomas Donnelly are working on the script and they have some cool ideas. It’s going to be a big action adventure flick and we’re really excited about it. We have some talented producers on it.”
So it hasn’t been forgotten at least. In the meantime, you might want to read more of the interview as the two reveal some interesting tidbits on the Voltron Force, especially their thoughts on character shipping.
