Manga Review: KHR Target - 394

Day four battles… Begin!!!
——
The time of preparation is over and all the set pieces are in place. Tsuna stands confidently with his guardians and confronts the enemy. For many longtime fans of Reborn, this chapter as a whole had to be one to pump us up to the highest echelon.

Tsuna’s grand plan is revealed. And what a grand plan it is! Enemies they were at first, but now no longer. Tsuna utilizes the skillset of the master illusionists Mukuro and the elite scientists Verde and Shoichi, as well as the mechanic Spanner to the fullest. The combined teams’ might, not only shocks Bermuda, but also immediately puts him at a disadvantage.

All the teams trick Bermuda, royally. It makes me wonder how he must have felt after all of this or if this was something he anticipated. With his troops split-up, every team most likely has a greater chance of winning. The only aspect that causes me concern is that Tsuna is with two others (Enma and Basil) to fight-off their opponent. I think we can safely assume that it will be Jagger. Could he be that strong that the combined might of all three is necessary?!

The panel above was also pretty awesome. Akira Amano’s best panels have always been close-ups of her characters in poses. Although she may not excel at having the most detailed fight scenes, she does make the characters look good when they are pumped-up and ready to launch an assault.
The chapter was pretty amazing even if it felt as if it went by in less than two minutes. This arc is possibly my favorite since the future arc and I have high hopes for how it will conclude.
