Jerry Springer Wants Some Bronies

It seems that Bronies, adult fans who love My Little Pony, are indeed invading the mainstream bubble. With documentaries and news reports based on the nerd subculture in the works, maybe it was only a matter of time before Jerry Springer would come calling for Bronies to appear on his show.
Wait, Jerry Spinger still has a show? Next you’re going to tell me that Maury is still doing Paternity testing theatrics. He is?! Well I’ll be a Donkey Kong’s uncle.
In any case, it seems that the Brony community is saying nay to Springer’s invitations.
More details after the break.

Not too soon after the tweet was published, a warning message was sent out from the Brony Emergency Broadcasting System, a Steam based group.
The message said:
“FLIM FLAM ALERT! The Jerry Springer Show is evidently looking for bronies to appear on their broadcast. DON’T FALL FOR IT. They aren’t trying to give positive exposure to fans of My Little Pony. They’re trying to mock us.
If Jerry Springer, or Howard Stern, or any similar broadcaster contacts you or a friend, asking you to appear on a show about bronies, say NO and don’t let them persuade you. They’re just out to make us all look bad.”
My Little Pony Voice Actress Tara Strong also chimed in on the matter via Twitter, saying:
“Listen to your queen Bronies….NOPONY go on Springer.”
But I thought Springer was completely staged? Staged or not, I have to agree for them not to appear on Springer. No matter what your hobbies are, it’s never good to appear on Springer for anything.
