Aaron And Ribic Face Mighty Foes In “Thor: God of Thunder”

News has broken today that Jason Aaron, Esad Ribic and Dean White will be the creative team for Thor: God of Thunder, as teased by last week’s Worthy teaser.

Aaron spoke about his first arc on the title, how it will span a thousand years, and look at three distinct versions of Thor — the young, impetuous Thor that comes to Midgard looking for fun, the current Thor that we all know, and Thor as the last King of Asgard years in the future.

Also mentioned was Aaron’s first villain, Gorr the God Butcher, who begins the arc as a serial killer of the gods, and becomes something much, much more terrifying.

Thor: God of Thunder #1 hits stores in November.
