Manga Review: Naruto - 596

In the midst of war, there shines a glimmer of hope. Tobi is not invincible after all! Go Naruto, Go!

—-

The fighters in the arena fought hard against Tobi and his relentless attacks. Although they grew tired, they still persevered as they faced this powerful foe. Fortunately for them, even if it looked like they did a tiny bit of damage, they managed to land a hit. How did this happen against someone who can temporarily allow objects to pass right through him?

During the period of time in which Naruto and Bee continued to launch attacks, Kakashi analyzed the situation and put together a plan. I thought this part and the following parts of the chapter were hard to follow. I hope that they manage to give a more detailed explanation during the next chapter as even after rereading it, it is hard to understand how the plan worked.

Tobi used a new Uchiha technique but then was quickly ambushed by Guy-sensei, and then followed up by a surprising Rasengan from Naruto. The attack was successful and landed a hit on Tobi, dealing heavy damage to his arm. How was this possible?

The chapter had cleaner and easier-to-follow art than the last chapter; however, the process of the events themselves and the explanation of them were lacking. Sure, Naruto landed a stunning hit and it seems that the attack may involve some other Uchiha jutsu tied to the Sharingan, but what is it, and what are its limitations? Is it similar to the teleportation jutsu that of Minato? Though a more limiting one that can only vanish for a brief second and must come back? Ultimately, this needs to be resolved and elucidated next chapter to avoid confusion.
