Scene From “The Matrix” Recreated Using Valve’s Source Filmmaker

Source Filmmaker is a new tool offered by Valve to create 3D rendered movies inside the Source game engine. It’s the very program that Valve themselves have used to create their own animated shorts.

LiveCurious95 has used SFM to faithfully recreate the scene from “The Matrix” where an incapacitated Morpheus is rescued by Neo and Trinity. The animation is pretty solid, with the exception of audio syncing with the lips.

Going live just over a month ago, Source Filmmaker is free to download, so long as you have a Steam account (which is also free).
