Anime Review: Eureka Seven AO - 16

Say hello to my little friend!

——

Well, it’s time to pull out all the stops now that the ace in the hole has been revealed to the world. Naturally the world is pretty divided about such a big secret being withheld, but overall the military might of the world seems to back it. It’s a pretty brash plan and I’m not really sure how effective it would be. I mean, what’s stopping more Secrets from showing up after these ones are destroyed by the blast? Oh well, maybe I’m thinking too hard; this anime has that effect on me.

I’m not the only one who is over thinking things as Ao is still plagued by… well, everything. Amazingly enough, it seems he’s been able to sleep, though not without his usual dreams. Whether these dreams are as real as the one he had before have yet to be seen, but I think there is a strong chance.

Naru, Truth, and Nakamura all make brief appearances. Naru seems to have mastered the controls of the other Nirvash effortlessly and seems to be an excellent pilot. I can’t help but think that there will be some Nirvash on Nirvash action some time in the future… or past… or… something… this trans-dimensional crap sure is confusing.

So, you guys remember when I ruled out trans-dimensional stuff and concluded we were only dealing with time travel? Yeah, well, dash all that. It seems that using the quartz, via whatever special abilities Eureka and Ao have, makes them jump through a dimensional gate. So, Eureka jumped into that particular instance of the world in two separate time periods. Now Ao himself has jumped to another instance in which Team Goldilocks never existed… who knows what else doesn’t exist here either. Or, at least, that’s what I think happened… I guess we’ll find out next episode.

GO Rating: 3/5
