I accidentally Norway’s Scab Coral Plant… is this bad?

——

First thing first, let’s tackle the big issue right now. The Quartz Cannon is able to remove anything and everything it shoots from existence in the current time-line it was used. There is a theory that it may now exist in “another world” or that firing the gun creates a diverging timeline… or at least that’s what I gathered. Point is, that is one hell of a weapon and could possibly mean that those Secrets were not destroyed, but instead sent off to another time-line… or world or… man, is anyone else getting a headache?

That’s not the only theory we got running around either, with information pertaining to Johansen’s book now on the table. According to it, the Scab Coral have been popping up throughout the world and changing the course of events throughout time. Truth is apparently from a world/time-line in which the Scab Coral never existed, and from the description, it sounds like ours. And… hang on, that is definitely a headache forming…

We are definitely getting a lot more information in this episode than I expected to get. I knew that all of this had to come out eventually, but I was expecting a toppling of a figurative tower, or at least a long row of dominoes. Instead it seems that we are getting a very slow free-fall of steady information and that the anime has all together slowed it’s rapid pace. Were it not for the fact that I’m trying to review this show, I’d probably have dropped it and picked it up later.

Aside from all of that, nothing really happened, and everyone is acting and doing about the same stuff they were already. There is no forward movement or character development. I honestly feel like the last several episodes could have been condensed into one or two and some of the events could have been explained in exposition. This slow aimless crawl is killing me.

Hopefully something big will happen and soon, because all of this headache inducing time/space craziness is only giving me a headache and the rest is lulling me to sleep. While I used to consider this a fairly solid and all around great anime… I’m slowly reconsidering.
