Is Professor Layton’s Latest Adventure His Last?
During a Nintendo Direct Live Stream today, Level-5 announced some details about the latest upcoming title in the Professor Layton series, “Professor Layton And The Legacy of Super Civilization A.”
One occurring theme about the title that keeps popping up seems to be rooted in allegedly being the final game in the series.

Wired and Kotaku are reporting that the sixth title in the Professor Layton series could be the last.
Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino introduced the game through a short video presentation, described it as “the final adventure of Hershel Layton.” The game’s official website says this is “Hershel Layton’s Final Chapter.”
While this could mean the end for Layton, that doesn’t mean another protagonist couldn’t step in for future titles.
