Kojima Reveals “Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes”

Among other big announcements — such as the confirmation of a Metal Gear Solid film adaptation — at the Metal Gear 25th anniversary event in Japan, Hideo Kojima revealed the biggest of them all: a brand new Metal Gear Solid game.
Hit the break for details.
——
Kojima unveiled a demo of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, which was described as an open-world stealth game starring Solid Snake. Its description is similar to the “Project Ogre” tease from last year.
Spectators were wowed as Snake, in pouring rain, stealthily gained access into a guarded compound in typical Snake fashion, took out your usual unsuspecting guard and made his escape via jeep and helicopter. Made better was the fact that the demo was seamlessly run on Kojima Productions’ new Fox Engine.
No platforms were announced for Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, but a new Metal Gear Solid game is indeed coming.
