“Cloud Atlas” (2012) Debut Trailer

The first trailer for the latest Wachowski film, Cloud Atlas, is out. Directing alongside them is Tom Tykwer and the film is an exploration of how actions of individual lives impact one another in the past, present and future.

I’ll be the first to admit that this trailer has me a bit confused but at the same time extremely intrigued. I think this is a return to form for the Wachowskis with what they accomplished in 1999’s The Matrix and the film does feature a stellar cast that includes the likes of Hugo Weaving, Halle Berry, Jim Broadbent, Susan Sarandon, Hugh Grant, Keith David and Jim Sturgess to name a few. 

The film is scheduled to play during TIFF (held in Toronto from Sept 6th-16th) but will open nation wide on October 26th,
