Anime Review: Eureka Seven AO - 19

Yapoo? Huh. I would have figured Goople would have had stock in this…

Finally, some progress! This is everything I had hoped for, but you know, 4-5 episodes earlier. For a long while there I saw that the tower was crumbling at that everything would soon fall apart in a splendid mix of information, action, and all that jazz. Well, here’s what I was talking about!

Ok, so we got some big realizations to deal with before I start digging into the meat of things. These realizations are things that we, the viewers, should have been aware of for awhile now. First and foremost is Elena, who is obviously related to Anemone in some fashion. Secondly, the fact that Truth is a Secret, which explains so much about him and seems a bit obvious.

The rest of the episode was surprising as I didn’t expect Fleur to be able to see through Truth so easily or Christophe to be that good at planning things. While it would be awesome if Christophe’s ultimate sacrifice meant the end of Truth, I’m pretty damn sure it was not. We’re losing characters left and right and that can mean only one thing in the world of anime.

I’m happy to say that Eureka Seven AO seems to be getting back on track and the natural progression that I predicted seems to be coming along finally. I have a lot of questions still, but I’m getting more confident that there are more reveals right around the corner.
