What a pretty mug. How does he even get into a legit guild with a creeper face like that?

Wow, they really rushed through that, didn’t they? I mean, I can see why it wouldn’t look like they were, but compared to the novel, they are just zipping through the story. Probably a good move too, seeing as how the only potentially exciting bit was the duel with Heathcliff. That was choreographed decently well, I have to say. Other than that, there wasn’t really anything to touch on in this one, story-wise. The speed run through this section of the story caused it to come off as dry and shapeless. I would say that that’s a shame, but there wasn’t anything I really wanted to see animated at this point.

They really tried to crank the romance up to eleven in this one, didn’t they? Just mushy fluff (mushy fluff?) all over this one. There’s even implied naughtiness! How can you not think they didn’t digi-do it before that last scene? They totally did. Anyway, it wasn’t nearly as heartwarming as I had hoped it would be. After experiencing it a third time, the magic is pretty much lost for me. Hopefully it made other people swoon. I did like that commander guy a lot more, though. He was more bombastic than stuffy in the anime. That was a great move by the production. Good natured swashbucklers are always better then stuck-up tools (i.e.Kuradeel).

So as if out of nowhere, Kirito and Asuna are to get hitched! Excuse me while I audibly gasp and clutch my pearls. Next week’s Morning Dew Girl should be interesting. I have unusually high hopes for it. Hopefully another two parter?
