It’s official: Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 will be available for Wii U after the console launches on November 18.

In addition to the usual split screen, which can accommodate up to 4 different screens at a time, the Wii U includes a GamePad that will let another player join in on co-op action with a separate controller. Alternatively, solo players can use the GamePad to look at maps or change loadouts. And if the battles get too noisy for the other people in the living room, it’s easy to switch from the classic Wii Remote and Nunchuk to the GamePad.
Blacks Ops 2 will come to Wii U sometime during the console’s launch window, which runs from November 18 to the end of March 2013.
