Anime Review: Eureka Seven AO - 20

You can’t handle the Truth!
——
This is more like it, this right here. This makes up for just about everything we’ve had to suffer through to reach this point. Hell, I don’t even care if things slow down again after this point because of how much was covered, how many things were answered, and how much new stuff popped up along the way. This was just non-stop awesome with each new scene doing its damndest to trump the one before it.

I don’t even know where to start with this review, honestly. I mean, so much happened. Generation Bleu is now a pile of rubble, Fleur is in charge of what’s left over, Christophe was working directly with the Secrets with Japan as the middleman, Truth has merged with IFO-0 and now is even more bad ass than before, Elena has gone rogue, and Team Harlequin survived along with Mama and most of the crew. I mean, that is a lot of stuff happening within 24 minutes.

I actually had to watch this episode twice, back to back, to make sure I got everything as it all just happened so quickly. But, I’m pretty sure I have a decent grasp of things now. I can see a lot of potential for change coming out of just dealing with Truth and Elena. Let’s also not forget that Naru is still out in the world some place as well, and that we still haven’t fully explored the powers of the Quartz Cannon. With those four things there is a lot to expand upon and explore and plenty of other things as well. With this much going on, I’m wondering if there is going to be another season or if they are going to cram as much as possible in the remaining episodes and then finish it off in the OVA. As of now, I only see an OVA listed for the next season, but I’m hoping that won’t be all.

Regardless of all that, I am 100% back in this anime’s corner and can hardly wait to see what comes next.
