I thought we had already established that, but whatever guys.

This chapter was almost dead when it came to plot movement.  Kazehaya and Sawako hugged for a while, looked into each other’s eyes, and professed their “like” once again.  After some sort of silent revelation about their complete failure to communicate, the two head over to a cafe and talk over their problems. The chapter ends with Kazehaya letting Sawako know how special she is to him and how truly insecure he is around her.

I was pretty disappointed in this chapter mostly because it seemed to be about 50% silent frames and 40% frames in which Sawako and Kazehaya hug. They seriously break away and hug again for about three to four pages with various exclamations, bag drops and tear wipes in between. It was a breath of fresh air when the two finally spoke and decided to move to the party to a place conducive to talking.

The conversation in the coffee shop was a bit redeeming because Kazehaya said some really sweet and necessary things. I was glad that he was saying everything because I was sick and tired of inner monologues and misunderstandings. It’s about time that he realizes that he’s dating a girl who has no skill in reading others. Sawako needs it spelled out Kazehaya. Every. Single. Time.

I’m looking forward to the next chapter if only to hear more of the interesting conversation and see less hugging. Hopefully Sawako has some nice things to say as well. The next chapter should be promising for relationship development.  Let’s hope there is more dialogue and less staring.
