It looks like A Knight’s Tale is coming to the small screen, thanks to Battlestar Galactica’s Ron Moore.

Battlestar Galatica Developer/Executive Producer Ron Moore has written a small-screen adaptation for the 2001 film that served as Heath Ledger’s first lead role. ABC has bought the project from Sony Pictures TV with a script commitment.

The show will apparently not differ much from the movie. It will be set in the 14th Century, star a young man impersonating a knight but ends up becoming one. It will also incorporate modern music.

No release date has been set yet.
