Gotta get back in time!

Ok, well, damn… Don’t you hate it when all of the evidence you see points to one thing, and then you buy into that only to find out you were right the first time around? Well, this happened to me in this here anime as I first thought time travel was the only thing going on, then thought that maybe it was dimensional travel. Turns out it was just time travel all along. Thanks for clearing that all up, Spectral Time Traveling Eureka!

So, I was thinking the whole Elena deal, along with Truth, would be a lot to cover and that there was no way that things could be wrapped up this season. I, however, think I might be wrong as the Elena thing was over faster than Anakin joining the Sith. Then right after that, here comes Truth… If everything is wrapped up in the next episode with carry over into the OVA… well, let’s just say I’m gonna be pretty pissed. Also, does anyone else feel that Elena has had more development and backstory than any other character in this anime?

Currently, we have a lot of unresolved stuff and a lot of tie-ins to the original series that have yet to be tapped. For one thing, I’m still pretty convinced that Renton is teased in the intro and he has yet to make an appearance in the anime. We also haven’t really dealt with much concerning Naru and all of the things concerning her and the Scab Coral. So, unless they are taking a break for a season, I am totally confused. Can anyone out there reading this shine some light on things for me? That would be super, thanks.

I really enjoyed this episode, save for how rushed the whole Elena bit was. We got some nice follow through from the last episode, new information, some resolution, and a great lead in to what should be an awesome battle next episode. I couldn’t really ask for more… Well, ok, I could but that’s just being greedy.
