Manga Review: KHR Target - 403

Akira Amano has gone above and beyond the call of duty and made Tsuna the most epic JUMP character this year!

——

Tsunayoshi Sawada has had a great 2012. There have been so many moments this year where I have literally stopped reading the chapter, stood up, and gave him a big round of applause. I’m so proud of how much he has grown over the course of the entire manga. He has matured well in front of our eyes. While he may have moments of his usual lack of confidence and immaturity, he, as a whole, is truly smarter and more mature than he was at chapter one.

Reborn revealed the secret of the dying will. Every time its used, Tsuna would learn new things about himself and improve in the future. What is the ultimate dying will form? We saw a glimpse of it before, earlier in the arc when Reborn tested him, but this with the assistance of the bullet, what was it? Truly it was an awesome moment when we saw it with our eyes. The flames emanating from all over his body was impressive and mindblowing.

This Tsuna was one that was cool, calm, and collected. As usual in this mode, he was able to best his opponent easily. Bermuda was shocked and stopped right in his tracks. His attacks could do no damage. Put simply, it was just stunning.

Overall the chapter was amazing. Tsuna showed that he means business. Akira Amano gave him plenty of detail in all of his moments in this manga; he looked amazing. She continues to show a mastery of drawing her characters well in mid to upclose ranges.

What will happen next now that Bermuda has been backed into a wall? Does he have some secret ability that he will have to unleash or will the battle end prematurely. I’m hoping that Tsuna manages to prevail. Chapter 404 can not come soon enough.
