Snyder And Lee On A New “Superman” Title In 2013

People have been wondering just where Jim Lee would end up, after it was previously announced that the artist and Co-Publisher of DC Comics would be leaving Justice League next year.
And now we know—he will be joining Batman and American Vampire writer Scott Snyder on a new Superman title!
Hit the break for details.

In an interview with CBR, the creative duo spoke of their plans when tackling a new title for the Man of Steel.
Details are still fairly light, but it seems that the book will be yet another monthly Superman title, running alongside, but distinct from, Diggle’s Action Comics and Lobdell’s Superman.
Indeed, the new title is being created for a fair few reasons, with it being the “biggest, most epic Superman story” the pair can tell, which will explore just who Superman is, whilst of course being grounded in the continuity of the New 52. Perhaps more notable however, is that 2013 will see the release of Man of Steel in theaters, as well as it being Superman’s 75 anniversary.
I’m probably going to have to give this a look…
