Yeah, throwing up outside of a restaurant really helped me realize that I have a new waifu.
With a new episode comes a new face, and a really cute one at that. Meet Asako Natsume, an intellectually challenged (complete airhead) student, who is loved by all the boys and shunned by all the girls. Oh, did I mention she also has no friends and depends on the internet to comfort her. Sounds like many of us on Tumblr (oh you know I only joke).
Anyways, she came to Shizuku and Haru begging for their help so that she can pass her test and not take remedial classes. If she takes the remedial classes, she wont be able to meet up with online friends for the first time. The word “friends” triggered something in Haru’s mind and he agreed to help. As a result, Shizuku became jealous. There was also a little bit of a foreshadow concerning Haru and his feelings towards Shizuku. In short, there was a lot of development in this one episode. Haru staying faithful to Shizuku, Shizuku helping Haru out with his Chicken and Shizuku confessing her love for Haru.
A lot happened in this episode, but unlike the first, it didn’t feel rushed at all. It was still funny and cute as always, and the chicken finally makes his debut. Overall, this was a very well paced episode that introduced another colorful character to the cast; advances made in the plot and was just one of the funniest episodes I have seen in awhile. I mean come on, barfing, chickens, and monja. What more could you want?
I dare you Colonel Sanders. Touch the chicken.
