Spencer And Ross Sneak In Some “Secret Avengers”

In a stealthy little move, Marvel announced today at NYCC that Secret Avengers will be relaunched in February, with a new creative team of Nick Spencer and Luke Ross.
Head under the cut to see what characters Spencer has in store, and the new concept behind the series.
——
Spencer, who previously worked on the current Secret Avengers book during Fear Itself, spoke about the new idea behind the series, which revolves around the idea that SHIELD has placed hypnotic suggestions into both heroes and villains, and when activated, these suggestions will cause the characters to complete SHIELD missions and then promptly forget that they have done so.
The first roster includes Secret Avengers staples Hawkeye and Black Widow, as well as Agent Coulson and Nick Fury Jr. from the Battle Scars mini-series. Also present will be the sometimes-villainous Taskmaster, the green Hulk, Mockingbird, and the Winter Soldier.
