It was revealed today that MAPPA, the new anime studio headed by former MADHOUSE founder Masao Maruyama, is working with Shinichiro Watanabe on an original television anime. Watanabe was the director for numerous anime titles, notably Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo.
There’s no news yet as to what the broadcast time frame is, or what the anime will be about.
